Summer concerts 2018
CHURCHES IN TOWN OPEN
Every Tuesday in July and August, from 10 am to 5 pm, the doors of five Jablonec Churches will open and invite locals and also city visitors to explore their interiors. This unique event will be accompanied with a series of Organ concerts, dramaturgically linked with one thought. This year will give us a unique opportunity to travel through time. Listeners will be able to listen to music from Gothic to contemporary music today. Of course, in the main role there will always be the Organ.
Our organ will sound twice during the Summer holidays, on Tuesday 24th July and on August 21th.
Come and listen to it.
The Roman Catholic, Czechoslovak Hussite and Old Catholic Churches willbe open during the Jablonec Churches Open project in cooperation with the Jablonec Cultural and Information Center and with the financial support of the Liberec Region and the City of Jablonec. The musical evenings have been prepared in cooperation with the Czech Music Home. Admission to concerts is voluntary.
